The Jølstad Funeral Home chain has offices in various parts of the country and every year we attend to about 5,000 families who have experienced a death. All our funeral home staff have local knowledge which helps provide the correct information for families’ individual needs and preferences.
We consider feedback from relatives very important and use this feedback in developing our business services and products.
Up to 2007 the business consisted exclusively of chain members fully owned by Jølstad Funeral Home AS. In 2007 the chain was extended. As a result, established or newly started funeral homes not in the chain can apply for membership and at the same time own and run their own funeral home. This is done through a chain agreement with Jølstad Funeral Home AS.
